ReadingWritingRithmetic also provides academic English language training to law students – masters and doctoral level – who have English as a second language. The language training focuses on academic English speaking and listening skills of participants to make it easier for them to further their education in English.
The participants will comment on and discuss various issues in the area of law in which they are specialising. The trainer will speak only English during the lessons. The language trainer will use immersion learning. Participants must speak academic English to the trainer. The more participants speak academic English the better they will become at speaking it.
The academic English language training is one-on-one because one-on-one language training is more intensive, and participants will achieve their aim of achieving spoken academic English proficiency faster.
The lessons are strictly online meaning there are no travel costs. Lesson hours are also flexible; language training lessons are available at any time and on any day. ReadingWritingRithmetic will not penalize participants for cancelling lessons. However, they must take the lessons later to avoid a gap in learning.
Notice that ReadingWritingRithmetic is a language trainer and not a language teacher. The trainer uses only English throughout the training. The language trainer will enable students to develop their language skills by requiring them to speak English throughout the lessons. The training is customised meaning the language trainer focuses on the vocabulary the participants need. ReadingWritingRithmetic is an academic English language training service. ReadingWritingRithmetic does not purport to teach law. The client is solely responsible for knowledge of the current position of the law. The academic English language training does not purport to replace lectures which the students must attend.
